Job Title: RN - Telemetry - Contract - MSW

Location: Mount Sinai West

Contract Length: 3x12 Schedule with weekends required

Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Nurses in this position are expected to prioritize patient care, educate patients and caregivers, and maintain therapeutic relationships while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:
- NYS RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Telemetry and ventilator experience
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- 2 years of telemetry and critical care experience
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program
- 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem positions)
