Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a day-shift acute care position requiring experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management.

Details

• Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to Med Surg units and to an additional Providence facility location
• Uses Meditech charting system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management required
• Active license required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care including management of ventilated and tracheostomy patients
• Facility may call off shifts up to once per two-week pay period
• Scrubs of any color are accepted

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate accommodations
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility
