Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry, step-down, or intermediate care nursing experience
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and time-management skills
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable team player
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
- Assess patients regularly and respond promptly to changes in cardiac rhythm or clinical status
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
- Document patient care, assessments, and interventions thoroughly and on time
- Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered intermediate care environment
