Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent telemetry, step-down, or intermediate care nursing experience
• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced acute care setting
• RTO must be provided at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and intermediate care patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and hospital standards
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient care
• Assess, document, and communicate patient status throughout the shift
• Escalate concerns quickly when changes in patient condition require intervention
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, attentive bedside care
