Description:TRAVEL - RN - Tele (633) - Wesley Medical Center - 7P - 7A - BACKFILL Unit Information:Intermediate Care / (633) Location: Wesley Medical Center Address: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 Floor: 3rd Building: 4 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -37 Number of Staff 12 Type of staff: Day Shift 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk Night Shift - 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs Patient Ratios 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients Type of equipment PCA Pumps; IV pumps; Chest Tubes EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience BLS & ACLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Prior Meditech experience NIH List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Central lines; Medication drips Heart Cath recovery; Bubble studies Best personality Fit: Positive Attitude/Engaged; Independent; Strong critical thinking skills Positive patient care experience Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
