Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry with 2+ years of acute care experience and NIHSS certification for a night shift position requiring every-other-weekend availability.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45pm to 7:15am
• Three 12-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours
• Required to work every other weekend
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for telemetry patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education throughout the care continuum
• Mentor and precept staff while demonstrating team leadership
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel as appropriate
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
