Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.

Details

• Float Pool unit position
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48-hour weekly shift options
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• ACLS certification required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HFLS) certification required
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience, with 3 years required for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, or OR
• Must have worked in the specialty within the last 3 months
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs nursing staff activities and coordinates care across disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnosis and care needs
• Develops and implements individualized care plans and evaluates patient outcomes
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, compassionate care
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
• Delegates tasks appropriately among healthcare team members
