Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 hrs/week) | Available Start Dates: Every Monday

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care (IMC/PCU) unit setting
  • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level nursing care
  • Perform cardiac rhythm identification and interpretation as part of ongoing patient monitoring
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

  • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum of 18 months of IMC/PCU/Step Down experience within the past 3 years
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current NIHSS certification
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Strong cardiac rhythm identification skills (candidates will be required to pass a proctored, non-multiple-choice rhythm identification test upon start, with two attempts allowed)
  • Experience working in a high-acuity intermediate care or progressive care environment
