### Join Our Exciting Trauma Stepdown Team! **Job Description** - **Position:** Travel RN - Trauma Stepdown - **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM - **Unit:** Surgical Trauma - 63610 - **Number of Beds:** 25 - **Staff:** 44 FTE's (57 headcount) **Unit Highlights:** - Work alongside a passionate team of healthcare professionals. - Experience a dynamic work environment in a Level 2 trauma center. **Staffing and Support:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 Secretary - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 3 Techs **Patient Ratios:** - Goal: 1:4 - Maximum: 1:5 for stepdown patients **Required Skills:** - Active ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications - Exceptional customer service and communication skills **Preferred Experience:** - Trauma/Orthopedic experience - Familiarity with Meditech EMR **Typical Patient Procedures:** - Post-operative care for various surgeries: - Trauma, Bariatric, Vascular, General, Urological, Orthopedic, and Neuro/Spine surgeries. - Management of: - Pulmonary Embolus, Neurological diagnoses (e.g., CVA, TIA, TBI), Sepsis - Hemodynamically Stable. - Support for patients with: - Acute cardiac dysrhythmias, Chest pain, Congestive heart failure, and more. **Additional Responsibilities:** - Conduct vital sign checks every 4 hours. - Monitor telemetry and perform Q4 patient assessments. **Ideal Candidate Traits:** - Team player with adaptability to various situations. - Excellent communication skills to foster a collaborative environment. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
