Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Triage ER RN for a Level 1 trauma emergency department requiring at least 6 years of ED experience and current triage expertise.

Details

• Level 1 trauma center Emergency Department with 44 beds across a newly renovated 45,000+ square foot space
• Department features an imaging suite, pharmacy, fast-track area, behavioral health suite, private treatment rooms, and family consultation spaces
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Two holiday shifts required
• Uses Epic EMR for charting, patient assessment, and medication administration

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 6 years of Emergency Department experience required for consideration
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Must be triage trained with current or very recent triage experience
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to individuals experiencing accidents or medical emergencies requiring immediate attention
• Perform triage duties assessing and prioritizing incoming ED patients
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• Excessive time off requests will not be considered, particularly around the holiday season
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
