Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Triage RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience and current triage training.

Details

  • Work in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art 44-bed Emergency Department spanning over 45,000 square feet
  • Level 1 Trauma Center setting with dedicated fast-track, behavioral health, and imaging suite areas
  • Triage RN role providing initial assessment and care to patients with accidents or medical emergencies
  • 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Two holiday shifts required
  • Uses Epic EMR for patient assessment, care documentation, and medication administration

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required (in hand)
  • BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
  • Minimum of 6 years of RN experience required for triage role consideration
  • Level 1 trauma center experience required
  • Must be triage trained with current or very recent triage experience
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

  • Provide triage assessment and emergency care to patients presenting with accidents or acute medical emergencies
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
  • Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning, whether travel, perm, or per diem
  • Excessive time off requests will not be considered, especially around the holidays
  • Holiday coverage required for 2 assigned holiday shifts
