TRAVEL: ULTRASONOGRAPHER ECHO
Position Details
- Tertiary care hospital with a Level I Trauma Center
- Busy inpatient echocardiography lab
- 40 hours per week
- 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Rotating day shifts, including weekends
- Overnight call: 5:30 PM–6:30 AM, 2–3 nights/month
- Call-ins require strict guidelines and cardiologist approval
- Daily workload: 7–8 echocardiograms
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of echocardiography experience
- 2+ years of acute inpatient echo experience in a Level I Trauma facility
Key Skills
- Perform high-quality TTE, stress echo, and TEE studies
- Proficient with 3D echo, strain imaging, and ultrasound contrast
- Strong knowledge of complex cardiac anatomy and pathology
- Skilled in image optimization and advanced scanning techniques
- Experienced managing high-volume inpatient and critical-care workflows
- Strong patient care, communication, and time-management skills
- Maintain ASE and IAC standards and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with sonographers, cardiologists, and fellows through case reviews and educational activities
