Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 year License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN Must-Have: - BLS - ARDMS - ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN (one of the certifications required) Description: Candidates from other facilities are eligible for this position if they have been separated for at least 3 months. Ultrasound Technologists have a choice of 3x10-hour shifts from 17:00 to 03:30 or 3x12-hour shifts from 17:00 to 05:30. Two to three call shifts are required per month. Experience in performing ultrasound examinations including but not limited to: first, second, and third trimester assessments; abdomen imaging; obstetric and gynecological examinations. Skills required include Doppler studies, color flow evaluations, emergency department procedures, and other general ultrasound techniques. Interdisciplinary support is available, and staff will work with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. References covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required during the compliance process prior to starting. Modules are non-billable and must be completed pre-start and annually. Completion of modules will be self-reported.
