Job Title: Ultrasound Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 09:00 - 21:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS AB, ARDMS RVT Must-Have: Traveler Experience required. Will accept Sonographer I, II, or III. Local candidates accepted. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly turn into a cancel. DNR is required. The Ultrasound Sonographer will be responsible for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department exams. This includes portable exams as well as procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies. Skills in various areas are required, including adult, obstetrics, pediatrics, and vascular ultrasound. Candidates should have experience with general ultrasound, including abdominal, OB/GYN, renal, and various small parts. Preferred skills include NICU experience and knowledge of Siemens equipment. The daily workload will involve assessing and conducting examinations in diverse settings including the emergency department and ICU. A collaborative approach is required for patient care. Candidates must be available for classes and training during the first week. All candidates should be open to floating within or near their assigned facilities. Pre-start modules must be completed online prior to the first day of work. Compliance with all pre-employment requirements is mandatory. No RTO will be approved during the first week. Must work two of three major holidays. All RTO must be pre-approved and cannot request additional RTO after signing.
