Job Title: Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid Allied license required Certifications: ARDMS AB, ARDMS FE, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS Must-Have: Comfortable scanning neonates, infants, and pediatrics for intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis. Description: The Ultrasound Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound exams. The position requires scanning of neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. The tech must have experience with specific conditions such as intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. No on-call shifts are required. The tech will provide quality images for the emergency department. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:1. The environment will include a mix of neonates, adolescents, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This position does not require floating between units.
