Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,130 per week in New York City, NY

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Ultrasound Technologist Specialty: - Duration: 9 Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday Experience: 2+ years as Ultrasound Technologist License: Required RDMS Certification Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Must-Have: OB experience and ability to perform ultrasounds on high-risk patients Description: The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations and provides technical assistance. Maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment. Prepares and examines all patients for ultrasound examinations following established procedures. Operates and adjusts ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety for patients and personnel. Cleans and makes minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment. Ensures adequate supplies are available for use. Assists in the orientation and mentoring of new ultrasound personnel. Captures images onto PACS and transfers them to physicians' workstations. Answers phones, schedules examinations, and may initiate transportation. Performs other duties as required. The candidate will be evaluated by a specialist to ensure the ability to capture needed views. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge of office and administrative practices is necessary. Skills in personal computer usage and software are essential. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions is required. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion is needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
