Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,153 to $2,353 per week in Richmond, VA

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you’ll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current national certification in sonography: RDMS (ARDMS) or ARRT (Sonography) required.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time clinical ultrasound experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience working with pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Comfortable performing pediatric procedures required.
• Ability to work independently and manage up to 10 exams per shift, including emergency department and inpatient exams.
• Experience with GE ultrasound equipment preferred.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS if not already listed above.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour nights, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, no call.
• Patient Population: Covers Emergency Department and inpatient; pediatrics through geriatrics.
• Workload: Up to 10 exams per shift.
• Equipment: GE ultrasound systems.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float within the hospital as needed.
