Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Technician Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Obstetrics & Gynecology License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS Must-Have: Experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in cancellation. Candidates must have experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Experience in High-Risk OB and Outpatient settings is required. General ultrasound skills in Obstetrics & Gynecology are essential. OB/GYN skills should include first, second, and third trimesters, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical surveys, and placenta previa assessment. Neonatal skills must cover bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, head, and heart assessments. Renal/pelvis skills need to include bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, and vaginal assessments. Registered diagnostic medical sonographer certification is mandatory. Candidates should be prepared to work during emergencies or disasters. Floating may be required within or near the facility. Scrubs of any color are permitted. Interviews are required as part of the hiring process. Flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions only. All RTO must be pre-approved with a maximum of 7 days auto-approved. Candidates must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
