Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This vital role requires a proficient individual ready to perform a variety of imaging procedures in a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist- Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures
- Support other imaging technologists as needed
- Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
- Handle operation of medical ultrasound equipment
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and participate in QA
- Adhere to imaging competencies and organization's values
- Participate in ongoing education and technical advances
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and procedures
Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist- Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent
- 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
- Basic computer experience required
- State Licensure is required if in New Mexico
- DMS by MIRTP NMED
- BLS required
- Requires one of the following: Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS
- Prefers one of the following: Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
