AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Ultrasound in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28277!

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you’ll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.


Minimum Requirements:

  • National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Certification by ARDMS or ARRT(S) required per client.
  • 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer. Minimum two years of ED or acute care ultrasound experience preferred by the facility.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • Experience with general ED ultrasound imaging, including point-of-care studies and emergency department workflows.
  • Ability and willingness to perform non-radiology tasks when not performing imaging, including obtaining vitals, patient rooming, assisting with lines and labs, and occasional sitter duties.
  • Support duties may include assisting CT/radiology with moving and transporting patients.
  • Experience using EPIC for EMR and familiarity with radiology systems such as Epic Radiant and Philips iSite is preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital (free-standing emergency department)
  • Shift Name: Nights
  • Shift Details: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
  • Duration: 13 Week travel assignment
  • Standard Hours Per Week: 36
  • Floating Requirement: Night shift sonographer will support ultrasound needs at multiple affiliated FSED locations; candidate must be willing to float within the client network.
  • Orientation: Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) typically 1 day; departmental orientation 2 days to 1 week as needed.
