Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer
Perform pediatric and adult cardiac ultrasounds, including EFs measurements
Assist with procedures such as pericardiocentesis
Conduct TEEs, stress tests, and bubble studies
Prepare preliminary findings for physician review
Participate in orientation of new hires as needed
Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer
2 years of acute care Echo experience
BLS, ARDMS-RDS or RDCS certification
Experience with a range of cardiac conditions and patient types
Comfortable performing pediatric scans
