Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer
  • Perform TTE, TEE, and stress echo studies
  • Conduct chemotherapy and renal transplant evaluations
  • Utilize 2D, doppler, color flow, 3D, strain, and contrast studies
  • Collaborate with a dedicated cardiac ultrasound educator and multidisciplinary team

Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer
  • Minimum 2 years of echo tech experience
  • BLS certification
  • RDCS (ARDMS) OR RCS or ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through CCI)
  • PALS and ACLS preferred
  • Skills in stress echo and interventional procedures are preferred
