Key Responsibilities of the Vascular Sonographer- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations on carotid, upper and lower arterial and venous systems
- Conduct DVT/Reflux studies and vein mapping
- Assess renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aorta, and iliac veins
- Monitor hemodialysis grafts and arterial bypass grafts
- Utilize EPIC and VascuPro systems for accurate reporting
Requirements of the Vascular Sonographer- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) certification
- Minimum 2 years dedicated vascular ultrasound experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
