Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer
Perform TTE complete with color and doppler
Utilize ultrasound enhancement agents (UEA) such as Definity/Optison
Conduct advanced imaging in accordance with ASE/IAC Echo guidelines
Assist with LV Global Strain, 3D, HOCM, and Agitated Saline Contrast studies
Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer
BLS certification
One of the following: RCS, RDCS, ACS through CCI
Minimum of 2 years of experience
