Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonography Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 6a-6p Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS Certification, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS Must-Have: Fetal experience required. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. IV starting skills required. Description: Candidate must have fetal experience. The position requires the ability to perform general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound, including upper and lower venous and arterial studies. The average number of scans performed per day is 35. Department has three ultrasound machines. Candidates will work shifts of 6a-6p on weekends as scheduled. Self-scheduling is not allowed. Weekend and holiday rotation may be required. Scrubs can be any color as long as they are clean and professional. The position does not require coverage in other areas. There is a radiologist on-site 24/7 until 5 p.m., and then on-call coverage is available. Experience with EMR and PACS systems is necessary. Department does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants. Cancellation policy allows for some flexibility in scheduling.
