Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: General Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10-11 hours Experience: 2+ years current Ultrasound experience License: ARDMS (AB, BR, OB/GYN, RVT) Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: - Ability to function independently and proficiently. - Must be able to move and lift patients, equipment, and supplies on a regular basis. - Must have a working knowledge of clinical emergency equipment such as oxygen tanks and suction apparatus. - Experience in General ultrasound, vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound services. - Previous travel experience preferred. Description: This position has a firm 32-hour guarantee. Exams include no OB beyond the first trimester and no MSK and venous studies. Procedures with which the ultrasound technologist will assist include prostates, thyroids, breasts, and lymph nodes. General ultrasound services are provided Monday through Friday with varying hours. The ultrasound department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Any time-off requests after upload or during the interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, with less being preferred. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this position. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after the offer may lead to rescinded offers. Please ensure all necessary documentation is provided with your application. Note that attendance is crucial, and call-offs may lead to termination of the contract after three occurrences. Additional certification requirements include active ARDMS registry and BLS.
