Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios - Charting system experience preferred; familiarity with Epic is a plus Description: We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures. This role will involve working with patients across multiple age groups, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. The technician will be expected to conduct exams focusing on various specialties, including abdomen, obstetrics, pediatrics, and vascular studies. Additional skills in advanced ultrasound procedures such as amniocentesis, breast ultrasound, and pelvic scans are desirable. The technician will participate in call schedules, including night and weekend shifts as needed. Expectations include floating to other facilities as required. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Flexibility and a commitment to patient care are essential in this role. Travelers may float between facilities and should be prepared to accommodate these assignments.
