Performs and/or assists with various types of ultrasound procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists. Prepares and maintains equipment, checks for proper patient preparation, and operates ultrasound equipment.
The Fetal Center is a high-risk obstetric specialty practice that provides advanced prenatal ultrasound, fetal monitoring, genetic counseling, and maternal-fetal medicine services for pregnant patients with complex medical or pregnancy-related conditions. Our multidisciplinary team coordinates care between obstetric providers, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, sonographers, nurses, and support staff to ensure timely diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment planning. We serve as a regional referral center, managing both routine follow-up care and urgent evaluations for patients throughout the pregnancy continuum.

Nurse to Patient Ratio if applicable: Outpatient Hospital Clinic setting 1:1
Unit Size/Beds: 6 sonographer exam rooms
Cases seen: 8-12 daily
Years of Exp preferred: 2+ in Ultrasound, with experience with high risk OB, MFM or experience with level 2 detailed anatomy ultrasounds
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Non Degree Program graduate of a 2yr AMA approved Ultrasound program Required
Previous Travel Experience Required: Y OR N? Not required
Certifications required: (Example: ACLS, ONC, PALS Etc.) RDMS-OB. BLS Preferred, Licenses Reg Diag Medical Sonographer Required, RDMS-OB
