Job Title: Cardiovascular Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Echo Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of current cardiovascular vascular sonographer experience required - At least 1 travel contract completed required License: - Active Iowa license required Certifications: - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required - Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Skills checklist specific to the discipline listed on the job required - Professional reference from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred - Driver’s license required Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The position requires someone with a full vascular skill set willing to perform all vascular processes, including renal, pre-op, pain mapping, and more detailed work. The more experience the candidate has, the better. An average of 7-8 scans will be performed each day.
