Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - General Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (20:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years License: MO or compact license required Certifications: ARDMS required Must-Have: - Experience in general ultrasound, including various abdominal and gynecological areas. - Proficiency in pediatrics, vascular studies, and small parts ultrasound. - Ability to perform isolation precautions and use of PPE. Description: We are seeking a skilled Sonographer for a night shift position. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations for a diverse patient population. The average daily census ranges from 20 to 40 patients for 4 technicians during the day. The technician will work a 1:1 patient ratio during nights and weekends. A minimum of five years of relevant ultrasound experience is required. Candidates must hold the appropriate ARDMS certification. First-time travelers are welcomed to apply. The sonographer will be responsible for various ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular studies. Floating within the service line is required. Compliance with safety and health protocols is essential. Charting will be conducted in the facility's electronic medical records system. Candidates should be flexible and prepared to adhere to patient care standards.
