Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist- Conduct independent pediatric echo scanning, including fetal echocardiography
- Work confidently in critical care areas such as Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU
- Provide care to inpatient, outpatient, and ICU patient populations
- Exemplify strong knowledge of complex congenital heart disease, cardiac surgical repairs, and pediatric cardiac anatomy
Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist- ARDMS or CCI credential in pediatric echocardiography (RDCS-PE or RCS-PE) required
- Minimum of 3 years of independent pediatric echo scanning experience
- Experience in fetal echocardiography preferred
- AHA BLS and EKG recognition required
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required
