Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Job Type: 13+ Week Contract 
Local Pay: $55/hr on w2(Without benefits)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a contract opportunity in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong OB/GYN and high-risk OB ultrasound experience and be comfortable working in an MFM/clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Perform OB/GYN and high-risk OB ultrasound examinations.
• Obtain accurate and high-quality images of patients and fetuses.
• Perform detailed fetal anatomy, growth, NT, and Doppler studies as applicable.
• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
• Capture and transfer images through PACS.
• Provide technical assistance to Radiologists and healthcare providers.
• Maintain and perform basic care of ultrasound equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Follow established quality, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer experience
• ARDMS certification – REQUIRED
• OB Ultrasound experience – REQUIRED
• High-risk OB experience – REQUIRED
• Ability to obtain the required views of the patient/fetus
• Experience with ultrasound examination and equipment operation
• PACS experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and clinical judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
