Description

American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS-AB certification and 1+ years of experience for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• General ultrasound unit performing abdomen, OB/GYN (1st trimester), pediatrics, DVT, and carotid studies
• Also covers some pediatric cases in the Emergency Department
• 32 hours per week schedule
• Weekday shifts 2:00 PM-10:00 PM, weekend shifts 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Evening shift 4x8 hours from 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• Call requirement currently every 5th or 6th weekend, Saturday/Sunday 4:00 PM-10:00 PM
• Additional call may be picked up if available
• Uses Epic and PACS charting systems

Requirements

• ARDMS-AB certification required; ARDMS OB/GYN and RVT preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must be confident and comfortable working independently
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform general ultrasound studies including abdomen, liver, spleen, gallbladder, pancreas, and biliary tract imaging
• Conduct OB/GYN studies including 1st trimester pregnancy scans
• Perform pediatric abdominal/pelvic ultrasounds, particularly in the ED
• Conduct vascular studies including DVT and carotid duplex imaging
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius
