• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation in accordance with established radiology department standards.
• Practice and enforce proper safety guidelines for patients, self, and support personnel.
• Ensure a high level of patient service through effective communication, proper technique, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and shift lengths, including on-call availability for days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Foster teamwork through effective communication with colleagues and care teams.
• Perform other functional duties as assigned to support efficient and optimal patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited sonography or radiography program.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS registration required; registry-eligible candidates must obtain ARDMS in either Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 months of employment, with both RVT and RDMS required within 12 months.
• Third ARDMS certification (Abdominal or OB/GYN) must be completed within 18 months of employment.
• Employees providing breast imaging must obtain RDMS (Breast) certification within 24 months of achieved competency.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Prior ultrasound sonographer experience, including general ultrasound, OB, and vascular.
• Breast ultrasound imaging experience is preferred.

• Work in a well-established radiology environment with access to a variety of imaging equipment and technology.
