Pediatric Ultrasound / Sonographer – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of pediatric ultrasound examinations including neonatal head studies, spinal, renal doppler, renal transplants, liver doppler (all vessels), and extremity venous doppler
- Conduct specialized studies including NEC, TCD, Intussusception, Pyloric Stenosis, and Appendix evaluations
- Document and chart all imaging studies accurately using Epic EMR
- Maintain a variable daily caseload based on patient volume and departmental needs
- Operate within an in-house pediatric setting with no inter-building float required
- Be available for schedule flexibility to work additional days as needed by the department
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Minimum of 2 years of dedicated pediatric ultrasound experience (2–3 years preferred)
- Active BLS certification
- ARDMS or ARRT certification required
- Experience with NEC, TCD, spinal, liver doppler, renal doppler, renal transplants, extremity venous doppler, Intussusception, Pyloric Stenosis, Appendix, and neonatal head studies
- South Carolina state ultrasound licensure is not required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with pediatric liver transplant imaging
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
