Registered Ultrasound Technologist – Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-call rotation required (2 days/week and every other weekend) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality diagnostic ultrasound/sonography imaging to aid in patient diagnosis and continuum of care
- Assist radiologists with imaging exams across the department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors
- Participate in on-call rotation, including 2 days per week and every other weekend, with required response time within 30 minutes
- Operate in a hospital setting open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, with experience in electronic charting systems preferred
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience as a Sonographer
- Active ARDMS or ARRT certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- License must be in-hand at time of submission
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics
Preferred Experience / Skills- Outpatient ultrasound experience strongly preferred; travelers with outpatient US experience will be considered
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience highly preferred
