Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging, Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures and facilitate efficient patient flow.
• Provide meaningful assistance to radiologists and referring physicians to promote exceptional satisfaction.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information while adapting care methods to individual patient needs.
• Perform examinations and procedures to assist in patient throughput within the scope of competencies.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions, completing appropriate follow-up actions.
• Participate in ongoing education and ensure imaging competencies as outlined by management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent required.
• One year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred; basic computer skills required.
• Requires one of the following within one year of hire: Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS.
• Prefers one of the following along with the required: Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS.
• State Licensure required if in New Mexico; DMS by MIRTP NMED; BLS required.
• Demonstrated flexibility in working different shifts and at multiple campuses as needed.
