Description

American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasonographer for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification.

Details

  • 3rd shift position, Sunday-Wednesday, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • Travel to Sanford location required if an ER exam is ordered
  • Back-up call requirements
  • Weekly hours typically 36-40 with variable weekend hours based on need
  • Float requirement to Sanford and other facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
  • Uses Philips Epiq and GE E10 ultrasound equipment
  • Epic EMR used

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • ARDMS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Driver's license required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required

Additional Information

  • Facility has 200 beds
  • Scrub color: any
  • Local candidates are not eligible for renewal or extension of assignment
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local, which affects bill rate eligibility
  • Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at time of consideration
  • Requested time off should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
