Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasonographer General) in Wichita, Kansas. This position involves performing a variety of vascular and obstetric ultrasound procedures in a busy, large trauma facility. Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week starting 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 6 months of current ultrasound technician experience, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered sonographer (S) or ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, and an RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in large trauma facilities and skills in Transcranial Doppler (TCD) procedures are preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit performs vascular and obstetric studies, with an average monthly volume of 2,100 patients. The department features new equipment and a team committed to quality exams, with radiologists reviewing all studies. Candidate personality fit includes being a hard worker with a positive attitude.
