Job Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technologist will:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
Obtain high-quality sonographic images for radiologist interpretation.
Evaluate image quality before submission.
Reconcile physician orders.
Manage imaging data and documentation.
Transport patients when needed.
Ensure timely communication and accountability for imaging results.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
Completed at least one full travel assignment.
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification.
Current AHA BLS certification.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong preference (or possible requirement):
Experience at a dedicated pediatric hospital, or
Pediatric Sonography (PS) certification through ARDMS.
