Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer (OB/GYN) – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-risk OB clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing advanced obstetrical ultrasound examinations and procedures while providing exceptional patient care.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Sonography experience required
- Maternal Fetal Medicine experience required
- First-time travelers will NOT be accepted
- Local candidates accepted
Required Certifications
- ARDMS (OB/GYN)
- BLS Certification
Required Clinical Skills
Maternal Fetal Medicine
- High-risk pregnancy assessments
- Advanced fetal anatomy evaluations
- Doppler studies
Fetal Imaging
Candidates must be proficient in evaluating:
- Abdomen
- Abdominal Circumference
- Bone Lengths
- Cerebellum
- Ventricles
- Diaphragm
- Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception
- Fingers & Toes
- Gender Determination
- Head & Cardiac Anatomy
OB/GYN Imaging
- First, Second, and Third Trimester Ultrasounds
- Amniotic Fluid Index (AFI)
- Complete Fetal Anatomical Surveys
- Inter/Intra-Orbital Measurements
- Multiple Gestations
- Placenta Previa Evaluations
- Umbilical Cord Doppler Studies
Procedures
- Amniocentesis
- Cervical Length Studies
- Vaginal Scans
Preferred Qualifications
- High-Risk OB experience
- Obstetrics experience
- Knowledge of Isolation Precautions and PPE protocols
- Strong EPIC documentation experience

- Monday–Thursday: 07:45 AM – 05:00 PM
- Friday: 07:45 AM – 01:00 PM
- Call Requirement: None
