Job Summary
Ultrasonographer General in Louisville, Colorado. This position involves performing ultrasound procedures, including OB/GYN and pelvic scans, in accordance with physicians' specifications. The sonographer will be responsible for patient positioning, image acquisition, equipment operation, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards to support accurate diagnoses.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's degree; ARDMS (OB/GYN) certification; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging, with proficiency in anatomy scans and OB/GYN scans (pelvic and transvaginal); EPIC experience is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: No additional preferred qualifications specified.
- Skills Set: Anatomy scans & OB/GYN scans (pelvic and transvaginal); ultrasound imaging; vascular ultrasound; patient education; patient positioning; patient immobilization.
- Additional Skills: Image quality evaluation; sterile technique; infection prevention; organizational skills; communication; attention to detail; time management; Microsoft Office Suite; computer literacy.
- Education: Associate's degree.
- Certifications & Licensure: ARDMS registry; BLS (American Heart Association).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience.
