- Required Qualifications: High school education or equivalent; Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program; effective verbal and written communication skills; self-motivated with ability to work independently; AHA Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification; prior cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound experience in a healthcare environment; minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience (considering 2 years if at an academic teaching hospital); registered in cardiac ultrasound (ARDMS; RCS via CCI acceptable).
- Additional Information:
- Non-billable orientation hours totaling 12 hours, with no guaranteed hours during orientation.
- Call-Off Policy: Client can call off up to 36 hours every 13 weeks.
- Local candidates are not accepted; a 100-mile radius restriction applies.
- Position involves use of Philips EPIQs ultrasound equipment, Intellispace electronic medical record system, and EPIC charting system.
- The role may include providing education and training on ultrasound procedures to fellows, interns, and staff.
- Client requires a minimum of 2 years of travel experience and prefers candidates with experience in a healthcare environment performing all types of cardiac ultrasound.
