Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week travel assignment in a rural Colorado mountain community.

Details

• Position is based in a Critical Access Level IV Trauma center with 2 clinics, 2 ORs, and a 24-hour ED on-site
• Modalities include general abdominal/OB/small parts ultrasound and echocardiography
• Thursday and Friday shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts); Saturday shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 36-hour workweek

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience required
• Current ARDMS certification in one or more of the following: AB (Abdomen), BR (Breast), NE (Neurosonology), or OB/GYN
• Current ARRT registry required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Must have personal vehicle — rural location requires reliable transportation

Additional Information

• Performs 2D ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to assist in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction
• Participates in maintaining positive department patient flow
• Located in a scenic mountain valley in Granby, CO, approximately 90 minutes from Denver International Airport, surrounded by national forest and world-class ski resorts
