Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with ARDMS RDMS certification and 3+ years of experience to float across multiple hospital sites.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient Ultrasound department within Radiology
• Performs all department tasks across all patient ages
• Proficient in general ultrasound, small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), OB/GYN (fetal survey, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), and some pediatric imaging (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception)
• Rotating day/night shifts, mix of 10s and 12s, 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Required to float across three sites: Everett, Cambridge, and Somerville

Requirements

• ARDMS RDMS certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in specialty
• Travel experience required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required during season
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Profiles are reviewed through a Clinical Interview Service team
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• First-time travelers are not considered
• RTO limited to no more than 5 days and must be submitted at time of application
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at a reduced local rate
