Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Ultrasonographer with specialization in Echo at a healthcare facility in Sacramento, California. This position involves providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services, including adult and pediatric assessments, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires the ability to perform complex procedures and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) and BLS (Basic Life Support). Experience with adult and pediatric populations, including complex congenital cases. Minimum of 3 years of ultrasound experience. Must hold a valid CA State License and have uploaded Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma level I and II, community hospital experience, and previous charge experience.
  • Certifications: ARDMS and BLS required; additional certifications highly preferred.
  • Additional Information: The role may include potential call shifts from 1900-0630. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with ultrasound equipment, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), and portable studies. The position involves a patient census typically ranging between 6-10 patients daily, with evaluations to include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of ultrasound experience with adult and pediatric cases.
