Travel Ultrasound Tech – Heavy Call
Location: JFK Main – Atlantis, FL
Address: 5301 South Congress Avenue, Atlantis, FL 33462
Unit: Ultrasound (729)
Department: JFK Main
Unit Details:
- 4 ultrasound scanners / 4 tables
- 4 Technologists
- 12-hour shifts
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- EMR: Meditech
- Equipment includes 1.5T Discovery 450, X-ray, MRI, and CT equipment
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hospital Ultrasound experience
- BLS
- RDMS
- RVT
- ARRT(S) / ARDMS certification
- Ability to work independently is a MUST
- Flexible and adaptable
- Willingness to work weekends and nights
Preferred:
- ACLS – not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using sound-wave technology
- Obtain high-quality images of organs, tissues, and other internal structures
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate imaging for clinical assessment
