Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time position involves performing a variety of routine and advanced vascular imaging procedures, supporting other imaging technologists, and ensuring smooth patient flow. The technologist must handle ultrasound equipment operations, troubleshoot basic issues, and participate in ongoing education and quality assurance efforts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4 Days, 10 Hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or an equivalent program. One year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred. Basic computer skills required.
- Certifications & Licenses: Must obtain within 1 year of hire: Sonography (S) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Abdomen (AB) Registry by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Registry by ARDMS. Preference for additional certifications including Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) Registry by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) Registry by ARDMS, or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS. State licensure is required if practicing in New Mexico.
