Job Summary: Vascular Sonographer position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing vascular ultrasound examinations in inpatient and outpatient settings, with responsibilities including maintaining accreditation and submitting bi-annual quality improvements. The position requires experience with specific protocols and procedures related to vascular imaging.
Job Details:
Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 5 years of relevant experience; proficiency with Epic electronic health record system; experience with IAC protocols including maintaining accreditation and submitting bi-annual improvements; experience with renal, mesenteric, abdominal, and arterial duplex imaging, including AV fistula duplex and mapping for arteriovenous fistula (AVF), carotid, and temporal artery duplex, as well as ankle-brachial index (ABI), toe-brachial index (TBI), and pulse volume recordings (PVR), including cold immersions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with equipment such as Parks Flolab and GE Logiq E10.
Additional Information: The candidate will float between the healthcare providers facilities in compliance with standard procedures and protocols for maintaining accreditation and improving quality metrics.
