Job Title: Vascular Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 32 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: US Tech (Vascular) Certifications: BLS; ARDMS RVT or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: Vascular Sonographer position available. Involves outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic duties for patients of all ages. Daily vascular testing averages between 8-12 patients. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience. First-time travelers are welcomed. Common patient types include PVD, CAD, HF CVA, and venous insufficiency. Diagnoses also include renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, TOS, and more. Candidates must possess BLS certification and be a Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Sonographer. Key skills include carotid and upper/lower arterial and venous assessments, DVT/reflux studies, vein mapping, and others. Experience with EPIC EMR is essential.
